Our Facilities

When the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home in Beallsville was built in 1922, its owners were actually making history. This facility was the first building built specifically for use as a funeral home in Western Pennsylvania and, while records are not clear, possibly the entire state of Pennsylvania. The funeral home is situated on historic Route 40, America's first transcontinental highway, in the town of Beallsville.

From Pittsburgh, PA (from I-79)
Take I-79S to I-70E. Follow I-70E to Exit 25 toward Eighty-Four/Glyde. After you exit, turn right onto Route 519 and proceed for 2 miles until you reach a blinking red light. Make a left at this light onto Route 40 and continue driving east for approximately 8 miles. Greenlee Funeral Home is located on the right-hand side of the road in the town of Beallsville. (If you reach another red light, you have gone slightly too far.)

From Pittsburgh, PA (from I-43)
Take I-43S to the Centerville Exit. Take Route 40W to the first red light, which will be in Beallsville. The funeral home is located in the first block after the red light on your left.

From Greensburg, PA
Take I-70W to I-43S. Proceed south on I-43 to the Centerville Exit. (Route 40W). Take Route 40W to the first red light, which will be in Beallsville. The funeral home is located in the first block after the red light on your left.

From Washington, PA
