Yolanda Elizabeth Settie, 88, of Verland North, previously Polk State Center, Polk PA passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at UPMC Northwest Hospital in Seneca, PA.

Born in West Pike Township, PA on December 1, 1936, Yolanda was the daughter of late Joseph and Elizabeth Superach Settie. Yolanda's other family includes Robert and Louella Settie, and Deborah Roush.

She was baptized at St. Nicholas Greek Catholic Church in Brownsville, PA on December 20, 1936.

Yolanda came to live at Polk Center on January 21, 1944, when she was 7 years old. She resided in many buildings and cottages.

Yolanda, affectionately known to her closest friends as "YoYo" was a sweet and loving woman with a beautiful smile and sparkling eyes. She enjoyed movies, musicals, van rides, community outings and church activities. She loved dining out, picnicking and going to local parks with her friends.

She was of the Greek Catholic faith and practiced her faith continuously throughout her life at Polk and Verland North.

Yolanda is survived by many friends and caring people who lived with her and helped her at Polk Center and Verland North. Those who knew Yolanda are grateful for her and recognize her as a true blessing to all.

Deceased in addition to her parents is a brother Joseph Settie Jr.

All are welcome to attend Funeral Services at the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA 15313 on January 31, 2025 at 11am with Fr. Mike Zavage officiating. Interment will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery where she will be buried with her parents.
