With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Wilma Jean Vuono, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Though her time on earth has come to an end, the love she shared and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Wilma shared a beautiful life with her long-time husband, Ronald, with whom she spent 67 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with family, cherished memories, and years of love and companionship.
Family was at the heart of Wilma’s life. She was the proud mother of Michael, Michelle, and Mark (Nicole), and a loving grandmother to Aaron, Cassidy, David, Rachael, Hunter, and Gia. She also leaves behind her great-granddaughter and her sister, Jane, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Wilma’s Christian faith was an important part of her life. As a Christian and member of Calvary Chapel, she found comfort, strength, and hope in her relationship with the Lord. Her faith guided her throughout her life, and her family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life and the knowledge that she is now at peace with her Savior.
Wilma was preceded in death by her mother and father, her two brothers, and her cherished grandson, Justin, with whom she shared an especially close bond. Justin held a very special place in her heart, and there is comfort in imagining their reunion in heaven, together again in the presence of the Lord.
Wilma will be remembered for her love of family, her faith, and the lasting impact she made on those around her. Though her passing leaves a deep sadness, the memories she created and the love she gave will live on through the generations. Her family will forever treasure the time they shared with her and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
May she rest in the eternal peace of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and forever held in the arms of the Lord she loved.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday October 20, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home Ltd. 42 Bank St. Fredericktown, PA. A funeral service will take place at 6:00 with Pastor John Thomas officiating. Interment will be private. An online guestbook is available.
