Tony M. Cecil, 74 of Bentleyville, PA passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022.

He was born March 8, 1948 in Cokeburg, PA a son of the late Nick and Catherine Zinko Cecil.

Tony was a 1968 graduate of Bentworth High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was employed as an underground coal miner at Mine #60 from where he retired in 2010.

Tony was a member of several local clubs and a lifelong member of the CFU Lodge #354 in Cokeburg. He played in the St. George Jr Tamburitzans and also a family band the Blue Eagles Tamburitzans.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, especially hunting turtles and making turtle soup. He loved to cook, his trips to Canada, his hunting camp in Clarion, and Friday night golf with the Moose Club.

Surviving are three sisters, Judy DiMarzio, Connie Dobrinski and June Cecil (Bernie Crumrine); several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are two sisters, Barb Nonack and Nancy Cecil.
