Timothy J. Dillon, 81 of Daisytown, PA passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in Mon Valley Care Center.

He was born September 24, 1943 in Washington, PA a son of the late James L. and Sara E. Wise Dillon.

Timothy was a 1963 graduate of California Area High School.

He had been previously employed as a coal miner, and also a dog catcher in local surrounding areas.

He was a former longtime member of the Hungarian Club in Daisytown and was the caretaker of the Walkertown Mansion in Walkertown (West Pike Run Twp.) for 55 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing and puzzle books.

On April 5, 2005 he married Kathy Strahan Dillon who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Matt Dillon of AR, Scott Dillon (Emily Ford) of Fallowfield Twp., PA, Sarah Underwood (Stephen) of Panama City, FL and Charlie Dillon (Tracy) of Perryopolis, PA; seven grandchildren Cianna Dillon, Caiden Dillon, Marissa Underwood, Dakota Dillon, Ashley Ziemba, Timothy Dillon III, and Eddie Povrzenich; two siblings, David Dillon of Clover Hill, PA and Bernadine Hartley (Fred) of Coal Center, PA; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Deceased are his first wife Norma J. Durdines Dillon; a son Timothy Dillon Jr; granddaughter Jessica Underwood; step grandson Ronnie Povrzenich.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Mike Hough officiating.
