Thomas Risbin Sr.

Thomas Risbin Sr., 91, of Marianna, PA died on October 23, 2026 in Jennie’s Personal Care Home after a recent illness.

He was born in Marianna, PA on September 13, 1935 a son of the late Michael and Frances Ottena Risbin. Tom attended the West Beth High School and was later employed as an Underground Coal Miner for Beth Energy for many years. He also worked for Penn Dot Road Crew for several years before retirement.

Catholic by faith, he was a lifelong member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish.

Surviving are 4 nieces and one nephew, and he is preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Kubichar Risbin; son Thomas Risbin Jr.; and sisters Wilma Jean Yuhas, Geneva Iddings, and Beatrice Yonosik.

A brief visitation will be held on Saturday November 7, 2026 from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Prayers will be recited at 10:00 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Richeyville Campus with Fr. Mike Zavage as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Saints Mary and Ann Cemetery, Marianna.
