Theresa Christy, 96 of Orlando, FL, formerly of Cleveland, OH and Fredericktown, PA

passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Orlando, FL.

She was born April 13, 1924 in Fredericktown, PA a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Chelena.

Theresa was a registered nurse for over 30 years and head nurse at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, OH.

Her husband, John E. Christy passed away Sept 19, 1976.

Theresa's hobbies included gardening, attending church and being a grandparent.

Surviving is a son Wallace Christy; two grandsons Michael Anders (Lisa) and Christopher Anders (Rebecca); four great grandchildren Ethan, Nicholas, Max and Chloe Anders all of Orlando, FL.; son in law Gregory Anders (Jade); one sister Barbara Speelman; many nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a daughter Jane Anders; three brothers and four sisters

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown PA from 9 AM to 10 AM, the time of a Panachida Service followed by a Divine Liturgy service at 11 AM in the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, PA with Fr. Christopher Burke as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
