Obituary

Tami Dawn Dolanch Pscolka, 48, of Eighty-Four, PA died unexpectedly Sunday, January 19, 2025.  She was born on October 16, 1976 in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Leslie "Les" Dolanch and Faye McDannell Dolanch of Eighty-Four.

Tami was a 1995 graduate of Bentworth High School and also a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University where she earned a bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy.  She had been employed as a Respiratory Therapist at UPMC - Shadyside and later at Canonsburg Hospital for several years.  Most recently, she volunteered as a Teacher's Aide at Faith Christian School in Washington, PA and devoted the rest of her time to her family and especially her daughter, Kaitlyn.  Being a mom and wife were the jobs she cherished the most.

She loved reading–her favorite author being Nicholas Sparks–shopping with her daughter, decorating for the holidays, and she had a true, creative gift for arts and crafts.  She supported her daughter's love for cooking by referring to herself as "Kaitlyn's Sous Chef."  She could rarely be seen without her beloved dog, Max, by her side.

On September 30, 2000, she married her high school sweetheart, Aaron Pscolka.  They enjoyed over 24 years of a loving marriage by each other's sides.  In addition to her husband and mother, surviving is her only and beloved daughter, Kaitlyn, of Eighty-Four, one brother, Heath Dolanch (Daltha) of Henderson, NV, brother-in-law Ryan Pscolka (Denise) of Salisbury, MD, mother-in-law Cil Pscolka of Bentleyville, PA, and two niblings, Quin and Wilhelm Dolanch. Deceased, in addition to her father, is her father-in-law, Ray Pscolka.

Friends will be received on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 in Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11AM with Jason Marvin officiating.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, PA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tami's name to the Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA 136, Eighty-Four, PA 15330.
