Sharon L. Potts, 72 of Fredericktown, PA (Deemston Borough) passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 in her home with her family by her side.

She was born June 27, 1951 in Brownsville, PA a daughter of the late Raymond and Jessie Appleby Ball.

Sharon was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School.

Ms. Potts was a member of the East Bethlehem Baptist Church and enjoyed attending with her sister, Edna.

She held various positions including office maintenance, laundry aid and nursing aid.

Sharon enjoyed puzzle books and especially loved her animals, taking care of her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are four children, John Bruno (Carole) of Washington, PA, Angela Fuller (Robert) of McDonald, PA, Christina Mox (Mark) of Cokeburg, PA and Martha Moore (Jason) of Fredericktown, PA; a sister Edna Hazelett of Carmichaels; brother in law Gary Bane; sister in law Gretchen Ball, both of Washington, PA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Deceased are  granddaughter Mary Ames; six siblings, Mary Southall, Ella Mae Sipe, Charles Ball, Raymond Ball, Regis Ball and Harriet Bane.

Friends will be received Monday from 3 to 7 PM in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown, PA where funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor George Lammay officiating. Interment will follow in Buckingham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Sharon's memory.
