Sarah Jo Gustovich, age 72, of Vestaburg, Pa passed away on Wednesday July 9, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on February 27, 1953 the daughter of Joseph M. Crable and Sarah Crable Goryl.

Sarah was a retired nurse after 28 years.  She loved caring for her patients and used laughter as a form of medicine.  She was known for her practical jokes.  Sarah loved her family and the Lord.  She was an active member of the Brownsville Apostolic Gospel Church.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she found joy in spending her free time with them.

Besides her parents and stepfather John Goryl, Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved son Eli Gustovich; Mother-in-law Rosalie Paluna "Granny Rose"; Brother and Sister-in-law Joseph "Sonny" Crable and Lora Crable; Brother Alexander Crable.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband John Gustovich; son John Meyers; daughter Jessica Eberts (Jud); Grandchildren John Meyers and Rose and Vincent Eberts; Brother Gary Crable (Hazel); Brother-in-laws Sam Gustovich (Kathy); Tomosh Gustovich (Kathy); Sister-in-law Beverly Crable.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025 in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA.  where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 14,2025 with Pastor Allen Daniels officiating.  Interment will follow in the Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville.
