Ronald Franklin Hartley, 71 of Bentleyville, PA (formerly of Daisytown) passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in his home.

He was born December 13, 1950 in Brownsville, PA a son of the late Allen and Eillen Wharton Hartley.

Mr. Hartley attended California Area High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce serving during the Vietnam War.

Ronald was employed as a driver for his family's business, Hartley Sanitation and had also worked for water and construction companies.

He was an excellent cook and outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing.

On March 28, 1984 he married Susan Erdely Hartley who survives. They celebrated 38 years of marriage.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Mark A. Hartley (Shannon) of Sistersville, WV and Lisa Hartley Fieler (Kevin Sharp) of Smithfield, PA; four grandchildren, Breanna, Erik, Shandysar and Tia; two great grandchildren, Madlyn and Ellie Mae; two siblings, Tom Hartley (Marie) and Judy Walters (Carl) both of WV; two brothers in law, James Erdely of Bentleyville and Joseph Erdely of Greene County; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are a brother Rick Hartley and brother in law Kenneth Erdely.

Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
