Rita A. Perowski, 73, of Fredericktown, PA passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in her home, following a recent struggle with heart disease.

She was born May 25, 1952 in Fredericktown, a daughter of the late Philiip and Anna Kaminchak Perowski.  Rita was a 1970 graduate of Beth Center High School and a 1973 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing.

She was employed for over 40 years as a nurse and a computer specialist at the Washington Hospital.

Rita enjoyed reading, watching the wildlife near her home, and volunteering with local organizations.  She loved traveling to the Outer Banks.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Tracey Kail, Philip M. Perowski, Mark Perowski, Monique Morgan, and Patrick Morgan Jr.; and several great nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three siblings, Phyllis Morgan, Philip Perowski Jr., and Theresa Perowski.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, October 20, 2025 from 4 to 6 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St.,  Beallsville, PA.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fredericktown Area Library, the Washington Area Humane Society, the City Mission in Washington, PA or the American Heart Association.
