Richard Gerald "Ricky" Powell Jr., 66 of Bentleyville, PA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in his home.

He was born September 4, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA a son of the late Richard Gerald and Cecelia M. Wilkes Powell Sr.

Ricky was a 1975 graduate of Ringgold  High School.

He was employed as a mechanic at various places in the area including Powells Transmission in Bentleyville from where he retired.

He loved motorcycles, old movies and his cat "Bruno."

Surviving are five siblings, Donna Chacko of Donora, PA, Mary Ellen Powell of Van Voorhis, PA, Robin Powell (Celeste) of Finleyville, PA, Rebecca Klanchar (Donald) of Eighty Four, PA and Randy Powell (Stefanie) of Venetia, PA; a daughter Linda Powell of Monongehela, PA; 3 grandchildren, Alana, Lauren and Shannon; 4 great grandchildren, Erik, Lillian, Luna Bella and Ezera: several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a great grandchild Hunter.

Friends will be received Monday  from 4 to 8 PM in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Sheldon Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
