Regis H. Stepp, 73 of Marianna, PA passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at UPMC Washington Hospital.

He was born August 25, 1951 in Washington, PA a son of the late Harry and Jean Serenta Stepp.

Regis was a 1969 graduate of Beth Center High School and also attended Salem College.

He was employed as a lineman for almost 40 years having worked for the Marianna/Scenery Hill Telephone Company and Fairpoint Communications from where he retired in 2008.

Enjoying nature, the outdoors, wildlife and watching the news were among his hobbies. Regis loved to talk and never met a stranger. He especially loved his kids, grandkids and his large circle of friends. He was also a member of the Marianna Lyceum.

On July 5th he and his wife Eddie Jane Hutchinson Stepp celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Chad Stepp of Marianna, PA and Gina Crile of Clarksville, PA; four grandchildren, Bella Stepp, Elliott Stepp-Crile, Josh Kerr and Layken Weiss; a sister Patsy Pryor (Lee) of Marianna, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown, PA where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 11 AM with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #744 Marianna, PA.
