Randy Lee Cowger, 57, of Scenery Hill, PA passed away unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday February 4, 2025.

He was born on July 20, 1967 in Washington, PA the son of the late Franklin H. Cowger and Virginia Kovach Leichliter.   He was a graduate of the Bentworth High School, and began his career in Trucking in Bentleyville, PA.  He was a devoted Truck Driver for 37 years with his "trucking buddy" Sam.

Randy was a beloved husband, and father.  He enjoyed  working on cars and trucks, and especially enjoyed spending time with his children, and grandchildren.   In his spare time, he liked to be on the racetracks at Motor Drome Speedway.

On October 17, 1988 he married his wife Hydi Patterson Cowger who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children Bradley Jo Patterson (Pam Fawcett), Tyler Lee Cowger (Bethany Sumey), Brianna Stewart (Tevin Stewart), Hanna Marie Cowger, and Randilynn Dubielak (Edward); grandchildren Easton Lee, Stella Jo, Connor Aaron,  Nova Leigh, Nathan Bradley, and Isabella Dae; siblings Gene Cowger of North Carolina, Bill Cowger of Eighty Four, PA, and Cindy Stinson of Maryland.

Preceding him in death are daughter Bethany Jo, and stepfather Tom Leichliter.

A Memorial Service for Randy will be held on Sunday February 16, 2025 at the Blainesburg Bible Church at 104 Fourth Blvd. Brownsville, PA starting at 2:00 p.m. with a memorial luncheon to follow at the church.   Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd.  2830 Main St. Beallsville PA 15313.  In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made directly to the Funeral Home.
