Pauline Orris Izett, 88 of Brownsville, PA (Centerville Borough) passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 in her home.

She was born November 8, 1933 in East Millsboro, PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Lilley Orris.

Pauline was a 1951 graduate of Brownsville High School.

Currently a homemaker, Mrs. Izett was previously employed at RCA, Meadowlands.

On June 30, 1956 she married John Jack Izett who died January 29, 2016.

Pauline was a longtime member of the Long Branch Grange and the Beallsville United Methodist Church where she also served as the church secretary for over 50 years and taught Sunday School.

Mrs. Izett served on the Centerville Borough Election Board. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, gardening and watching gameshows and football.

Surviving are two children, John P. Izett and Paula C. Izett, both of Centerville, PA; two sisters in law, Carmen Orris of Durango, CO and Betty Orris of East Millsboro, PA; a special niece, Marla Essa of Centerville, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are five brothers, Bill, Joseph, John, Paul and Ray Orris; two sisters, Ann Meikle and May Orris; two sisters in law, Cora Riggle and Ruthadelle Stewart.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11 AM with Pastor Gary Gregg officiating. Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery, Brownsville. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Beallsville United Methodist Church, PO Box 136 Beallsville, PA 15313.
