Paul Samuel Minetti of Bentleyville, died peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2024 at home. He was 92 years old. Paul was predeceased by his loving wife, Lillian "Bonnie" Minetti, his brother, Ernest Minetti, and sister, Elvira Menendez. Paul is survived by his daughter, Yvonne (Dr. Robert) Moulton of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Michele (Matthew) Nordenhold and Mitchell (Stephanie) Moulton, and brother-in-law, David Shernisky, of Bell Vernon.

Born September, 13, 1931, a son of the late John and Maria Louise Boccella Minetti, Paul grew up in Carrick, Pennsylvania, and attended public school prior to embarking in a career as a coalminer for Console Energy. He also served in the Army and is a veteran of the Korean war.

On April 11, 1953, Paul and Bonnie were married, built their home in Bentleyville, and welcomed the arrival their daughter, Yvonne, in 1957. Master of an eclectic range of skills, Paul, hand-crafted the majority of structures within his home and took initiative maintaining the entirety of his property including a bountiful garden with precise regularity.

Paul did not limit himself to the boundaries of his beautiful hometown. He was an avid traveler and visited a myriad of locations around the world often with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Each adventure was commemorated with the acquisition of a hat from the destination.

Within the community, Paul was a member of the local Lions Club. He also enjoyed a strong, dependable, and loyal core of buddies that enhanced his everyday routine for a period of time that anyone would perceive to be an invaluable blessing. Paul will be deeply missed by all those lucky enough to have called him brother, father, Pap, uncle, cousin, or friend.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 9 to 11 AM, the time of a Blessing Service, in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA 15314 with Fr. Mike Zavage officiating. Private entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
