Norman B. "Stormin Norman" Detrick Jr, 53 of Bentleyville, PA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 7, 2023 with his beloved German Shephard "Keizer" by his side.

He was born August 26, 1969 in Washington, PA a son of Norman Detrick Sr. of Washington, PA and Betty Jane Hustava Detrick of California, PA who survive.

Norman was a 1988 graduate of Beth Center High School.

He was employed at Blue Beacon Truck Wash #071 Bentleyville for many years holding various positions where he built many lifelong friendships. He was most recently employed at Giant Eagle in Bentleyville.

He loved all Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Steelers, working out at the YMCA, movies, 80's music, singing Karaoke and watching his grandson Elijah play sports. He always enjoyed spending time with friends. No one was a stranger to Norman. He loved meeting new people and would talk to anyone as if they were an old friend.

Surviving in addition to his parents are three children, Haverly Detrick (Autumn) of New Salem, PA,  Emily McCoy (Eric) and Zachary Detrick both of Bentleyville, PA; a grandson Elijah Johnson; a brother Greg Detrick of California, PA; a sister, Lisa Kokila (Dave)of Belle Vernon, PA; a niece Kayla Kokila; former wife and mother of his children Emma Detrick; many friends and his work family.

Deceased is a grandson Zayne Telegraphis.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. PO Box 11 Beallsville, PA where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
