Norman J. "Rev" Chester, 76 of Cokeburg, PA passed away on Saturday October 19, 2024 and was reunited with his wife Linda.  Norman was born on February 13, 1948, a son of the late Andrew and Laura Nicholas Chester.

Rev was a graduate of the Bentworth High School and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army.  After the service, he went to work in the Coal Mine as a Mechanic, retiring from Consol Energy in 2007 after 30 years of service.

In his younger years Mr. Chester enjoyed fishing, and hunting with his son.  Most recently he enjoyed spending time with his family, and watching Westerns, and detective shows on TV.

Surviving are three children Kimberly Peters (Ron) of Scenery Hill, Matthew Chester (Amy), and Amber Wolfe (Eric) both of Cokeburg, PA; six grandchildren Ronnie Peters, Josh Peters, Abigail Chester, Haylee Wolfe, Lily Chester, and Gavin Wolfe; two brothers Ronald "Buster" Chester, and John Telegraphis (Brenda).

Preceding him in death are his wife Linda K. Chester who passed September 27, 2007; a brother and sister Andrew J. Chester, and Norma Hustava.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home 619 Main Street Bentleyville, PA, 15314 where funeral services will be held on Thursday October 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Andy Scott officiating.  Interment will follow in the Scenery Hill Cemetery.  An online guestbook is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com  where you may express personal condolences.
