Nick Faieta Jr., 96 of Fredericktown, PA passed away, Sunday, September 15, 2024 in Hallsworth House Monessen, PA.

He was born November 2, 1927 in Vestaburg, PA a son of the late Nick and Luigia Sicorsi Faieta Sr.

Nick was a 1945 graduate of Centerville High School and attended Waynesburg College.

Mr. Faieta was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1946 to 1947.

He was employed as an underground Miner at J & L Steel Vesta #5 Mine for 25 years. For 15 years he owned and operated Nicky Steak House in Centerville and was later employed as a bartender at Valley Brook Country Club.

Mr. Faieta was a member of the American Legion Post # 705 of Centerville and the Beth Center Senior Citizens.

A hardworking man and a people person, Nick worked until the age of 85 and loved to socialize and laugh.

Surviving are two children, Nicky Faieta of Millsboro, PA and Cecile Creely (Ronald) of FL: three grandchildren, Nicholas Faieta, Kelsey Faieta and Sara Creely. Mr. Faieta was the last of his immediate family.

Deceased are his wife Dorothy Brown Faieta who died April 11, 2016; four siblings, Emil "MiMi" Faieta, Bill Faieta, Dora Loffredo, and Edith Marshall.

Funeral Services are private and have been entrusted to the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. Fredericktown, PA.
