Obituary

Nicholas R. Nuccetelli, 87, of Eighty Four, PA (Somerset Township) passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday February 24, 2025 and was reunited with his beloved wife.  There's a popular saying "When a cardinal appears, an angel is near" and an angel was with Nick on Monday morning.

Mr. Nuccetelli was born in Cokeburg, PA on September 10, 1937 the son of the late James and Alice McKay Nuccetelli.  He was a 1955 graduate of Ellsworth High School.  Following graduation Nick was enlisted into the U.S.M.C serving for several years before his honorable discharge in 1962

Nick was a man who lived his life through faith.  He and his wife Florence were lifelong members of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family.  Nick belonged to the Knights of Columbus Bentleyville Council, the Cokeburg Moose Lodge and Croatian Club, Richeyville Miners Club, and the Ellsworth Sportsman Club.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid golfer.   He took pride in being a founder of Bentworth Midget Football, and also coached Bentworth High School Football for several years.

On February 20, 1960 he married the late Florence Paul Nuccetelli who passed away on September 4, 2022.
