Michael A. "Mikey" Shemansky, 52 of Daisytown, PA passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in his home.

He was born November 28, 1970 in Washington, PA, a son of the late George Shemansky Sr. and Mary Karpiak Shemansky of Richeyville, PA who survives.

Michael was a graduate of Beth Center High School.

He was employed as a laborer at 84 Lumber for many years and also held various jobs over the years.

Michael's hobbies included hunting, fishing, and going on his "Monday" drives.

On May 28, 2019 he married Maricor Apolinario Shemansky who survives.

Also surviving are two brothers, Tony Shemansky (Bianca) of Coal Center, PA, and George Shemansky Jr. of Richeyville, PA; two sisters, Carrie Hainey (Ricky Jr.) of Fremont, NC and Sandy Shemansky of Richeyville, PA; many loving nieces and nephews who he loved as his own children.

Friends will be received Sunday from 12 to 4 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor Sheldon Barnette Officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
