Melissa Sue Barbacow, 45 of Vestaburg, PA passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 in her home.

She was born March 3, 1980 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Alvin "Butch" Hamm and Bonita Cyr Hamm of Clarksville, PA who survives.

Melissa was a 1998 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from California University.

She was employed as a Pre K lead teacher at the Goddard School in Upper St. Clair.

Mrs. Barbacow was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredericktown, PA.

Melissa absolutely loved her job. She also enjoyed crafts (Cricut) and baking.

On April 26, 2005 she married Matthew Barbacow who survives. Together they celebrated 20 years of marriage.

Also surviving are two sons, Eli and Aaron Barbacow of Vestaburg, PA; Grandmother Dorothy Cyr of Clarksville; a sister Kimberly Hamm of Deemston Borough.

Services are private and have been entrusted to the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd.
