Mary Elizabeth Shanahan, 91 formerly of Bentleyville, PA passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 in Premiere Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born October 29, 1930 in Osceola Mills, PA a daughter of the late Eleanor Foerder.

Mary graduated from high school in 1948 in Brooklyn, NY and had been previously employed as a billing clerk.

Mrs. Shanahan was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish.

Surviving are her sister in law Shirley Kadash of Bentleyville, PA; two nieces, Deb Pompermeyer (Roger) of Finleyville, PA and Yvonne Ruffing (Steve) of Virginia; a nephew John Kadash (Kim) of Bentleyville, PA; great nieces and nephews, Justin McKeta, Jim Fidazzo, April Kadash and Zachary Kadash.

Deceased is a brother John Kadash.

Friends will be received Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM, the time of service, in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA with Fr. Don Chortos officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery Monongahela.
