Mary Ann McCarty, 85, of Fredericktown, PA (Deemston Borough) passed away on September 13, 2025 in the LaFayette Manor.

She was born on February 27, 1940, in Marianna, PA a daughter of the late Tony and Josephine Morrida Katlubeck.

Mary graduated from the West Beth High School in 1957 and was later employed as a Retail Manager for many years.

She was  a member of the California Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. McCarty was an accomplished seamstress, who also enjoyed cooking, baking and doing word searches.

On March 7, 1960, she married Richard McCarty who survives. Together they celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children Edward McCarty (Sally) of New York, Tracey McCarty of Washington, PA, and Toni Jo McCarty of Bentleyville, PA; one brother, Joe Katlubeck of Centerville, PA.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the California Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Rodney Johnson officiating. Interment will be private. All arrangements have been entrusted to the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA.
