Mary Felicia Harkins

Mary Felicia Harkins, 70, of California, PA (formerly of Charleroi) passed away Sunday September 13, 2026, in the Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.

She was born in Canonsburg, PA on December 25, 1955, a daughter of the late Randell “Lefty” and Rose F. Zampan Leyda. Felicia was a 1973 graduate of the Charleroi High School and was later a homemaker for her family.

Felicia had many hobbies, but above all she loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a love for animals, especially her dogs. Watching game shows and doing crosswords in later years were also something she enjoyed.

A woman of great faith, she was a lifelong member of the Grace Methodist Church in Coal Center and was a former girl scout leader.

Surviving is her son Donald Harkins; grandchildren Savannah DeAugustine (Fiancé Jim Reynolds), Samantha Tatar (Jacob), Victoria Harkins (Fiancé Raymond Whitaker) and Raelynne Harkins, Gage, Caden, and Skyler Ross; great grandchildren Waylon and Christian Hellman, Ryan Whitaker, Oaklan Tatar, and Mia Clark;

Felicia is preceded in death by her husband Donald Harkins Jr. who died on December 29, 2008.

Family and friends will be received on Monday September 21, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Where a funeral service will take place on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth S. Custer officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Briar Hill.
