Mary Jane DeWitt, 88 of Fredericktown, PA passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.

She was born August 2, 1933 in Scenery Hill, PA a daughter of the late Samuel and Ethel McCarty Ross.

Mrs. DeWitt was a member of the United Brethren Church of Ten Mile, Marianna, PA.

A homemaker, Mary Jane enjoyed gardening and taking care of others. She especially loved time with her children and grandchildren.

On February 27, 1952 she married Gerald DeWitt who died August 20, 2021.

Surviving are four children, Debbie Doriguzzi (Bill) of Fredericktown, PA, Duane DeWitt of Buffalo, NY, Denise Prodan (Lex) of Carmichaels, PA and Dana Packrall of Fredericktown, PA; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Allen, Johnathan, Daniel, Joshua, Nina and Nathaniel; eight great grandchildren, Wren, Connor, Livia, Jaelynn, Ariel, Hunter, Addison and Landon; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are seven siblings, Thelma McKenna, Wilma Johns, Eva Watkins, Robert Ross, John Ross, twin sister Betty Jane Ross, Michael Ross; grandson Jason Doriguzzi.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment will be in the North Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery.
