Marlene M. McClosky, 71 of Brownsville, PA (Centerville Borough) passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House after a battle with cancer.

She was born September 10, 1951 in Brownsville, PA a daughter of the late Sam and Anna Sabo Lahoff.

Marlene was a 1970 graduate of Colindale High School.

A Seamstress, she had been employed at Bobby Brooks in Washington, PA as well as Gateway Sportswear in Masontown, PA where she retired.

On October 25, 1975 she married her husband Joseph "Joe" McClosky who survives.  They cherished 48 years of marriage.

Marlene loved her grandchildren, and her dog Dutchess, and cat Stormy.  She also enjoyed gardening, and flowers.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter Melissa Reynard (Matt) of Centerville, PA; three grandchildren Matthew, Makayla, and Maxwell Reynard.
