Marilyn Ann Rogan, 84 of Fredericktown, PA passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 in her home.

She was born July 22, 1939 in Crescent Heights, PA a daughter of the late Michael and Eva McKean Bednar.

Marilyn was a 1957 graduate of California Area High  School and also earned a degree in business.

She was employed as a CSR/Teller at the bank in Fredericktown.

Mrs. Rogan was a member of the Hanson-Cole American Legion Auxiliary  and a member and former president of the Fredericktown Women's Civic Club.

Marilyn enjoyed painting and was an excellent cook, baker, and cake decorator. She won a baking competition with her apple pie.

On February 6, 1971 she married Michael T. Rogan who died in 2013.

Surviving are two sons George Rogan and Michael Rogan; a granddaughter Madelyn Rogan all of Fredericktown, PA; two siblings Anthony Bednar (Gloria) of Carmichaels, PA and Evelyn Tarantins of Belle Vernon, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a sister Judith Bailey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 12 PM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus with Fr. Mike Zavage officiating. Interment will be private.
