Marie Helen Jenkins 97, of Fredericktown, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 in the Washington Hospital.

She was born August 24, 1926 in Mollenaur, PA (Bethel Twp.), PA a daughter of the late Emil and Anna Drotos Matiyasic.

Mrs. Jenkins  was a clerk at PGH Gift Shop in Fredericktown for many years.

She had many hobbies, some of which were sewing, egg decorating, crocheting, cooking, canning, quilting, reading, and bird watching.

Marie was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two children Lutellis L. Cummings III (April) of Rices Landing, PA, and Karen M. Jansen (Keith) of Sevierville, TN; two grandchildren Jeremy Farrah (Amanda), and Lexis Cummings; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband Earl M. Jenkins who passed away on February 5, 1994; four siblings Emil "Sonny" Matiyasic Jr., Ernest F. Matiyasic Sr., Regina Matiyasic Sr., and a sister Bernice A. Fetsko; one granddaughter Lisa June Rocha.

Friends will be received Thursday January 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.  to 1:00 p.m. the time of service with Pastor Brian Carroll officiating in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd.  Fredericktown, PA 15333.  Entombment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park.
