Marcella Sargent, 91 of Richeyville, PA passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 in her home.
She was born February 25, 1929 a daughter of the late Harry and Alma Seymore Johns.
Mrs. Sargent was a 1947 graduate of Brownsville High School.
A homemaker, Mrs. Sargent was also a member of the Garwood Baptist Church, the Bentleyville Eagles and the Miners Club Richeyville.
She loved bowling and belonged to various leagues. She also enjoyed Bingo, baking and cooking.
Surviving are five children, Janet Snyder (Steve) of Washington, PA, Marcella Banks (William) of Richeyville, PA, Quinton Sargent (Maxine) of Bentleyville, PA, James Sargent or Richeyville, PA and Harry Sargent (Shelly) of Washington, PA; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Decease in addition to her parents are her first husband Jack Bell; her second husband Herschell Sargent; three sons, John, Herschell and William Sargent; one brother Gerry Johns; one grandson, SGT Joseph Minucci KIA-Iraq.
Friends will be received Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 11 AM to 1 PM, the time of services, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA with Pastor Kevin Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville.
