Lucille “LuLu” Rose (Stoskel) Kovacich, 88, of Washington, PA (formerly of Fredericktown) passed away on September 8, 2026, following a recent illness.

She was born on March 10, 1938, the daughter of the late Pete and Stella Stoskel. Lucille was the beloved widow of Frank Kovacich. Lucille dedicated her life caring for others. She worked as a Health Aide for Albert Gallatin and provided compassionate private care.

She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially music, flowers, food and spending time with her cherished family.

Lucille was an active member of the Marianna American Legion Post #744. Guided by a deep faith, she was affiliated with Saints Mary and Ann Church as well as St. Katharine Drexel Parish.

She is survived by her loving family which includes son’s Curt Kovacich (Sherri), Mike Kovacich (Amber), and Dave Kovacich; grandson Shane Kovacich; sisters Clara Miller, and Marlene Coughenour (Frank); several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death in addition to her husband are brother George Stoskel and sisters JoAnn Allen and Dorothy “Dee Dee” Mancini.

Family and friends will be received on Friday September 11, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus with Fr. Alec Scheuer as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Horn Cemetery, Marianna. An online guestbook is available.
