Loretta K. Carl, 76, of Scenery Hill, PA passed away on Monday July 28, 2025, following  a lengthy illness in her home surrounded by her family.

Loretta was born on March 14, 1949, in Brownsville, PA, a daughter of the late John and RuthAnn Edwards McLaughlin.  She graduated from the California Area High School in 1967, which in the same year on March 4, she married her husband Hubert "Wayne" Carl who survives.  They celebrated 58 years of marriage.

A homemaker,  family was very important to Loretta.  She was also later employed by Hardys in Bentleyville for several years.  She was a former member of the Garwood Baptist Church (formerly Oak Grove).

Loretta enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and especially sewing.  She also canned and baked.  In her younger years she enjoyed riding her Honda motorcycle.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children John "Chopper" Carl, Loretta Rose both of Scenery Hill, PA; and Scott Carl (Jen) of Deemston; three grandchildren Kayla, JaneAnn, and Becka; five great grandchildren Colton, Hayden, Cora, Hunter, and Kevin "Trip"; siblings John McLaughlin, and Enid Porter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is an infant brother baby Ollie.
