Lloyd H. "Smitty" Smith Jr., 58 of Scenery Hill, PA passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh due to a brief illness.

He was born August 28, 1963 in Washington, PA a son of the late Lloyd Harold Smith Sr. and Nancy McDonald Smith of Scenery Hill, PA who survives.

Smitty was a 1981 graduate of Bentworth High School.

He was employed as a union sheet metal worker with X-Mark Industries, Washington Steel and Chapman Corp. for 30 years combined.

Smitty was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #12 and the Marianna Lyceum.

He enjoyed spending time with his sons.

Surviving are two sons Austin Smith (Callen) of Cadiz, OH and Evan Smith of New Brighton, PA; a brother Duane Smith of Omaha, NE.

Deceased is his wife Dana McClellan Smith who died October 27, 2017.

Friends will be received Thursday from 3 to 7 PM and Friday, July 15, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM, the hour of services, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Interment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mrs. Claus Club, 56 Lanik Rd. Bentleyville, PA 15314.
