Lloyd A. Nash Sr., 72, of Brownsville, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Lloyd was born on May 5, 1952 in Abingdon, VA  a son of the late Carson and Margie Keith Nash.  After his High School graduation, he joined the United States Army and was a proud Veteran.

He was employed as a Corrections Officer at SCI Greene for several years before his retirement.  Catholic by faith, Lloyd was a family man.  He enjoyed spending time with his children, and grandchildren.  He cherished his retirement where he had time for fishing, and "tinkering" in his garage.

Surviving are seven children  Lloyd  Nash Jr. (Lucy) of Rolla, MO;Mary Henderson (Bryan) of Mt. Morris, PA; Christopher Nash (Jessica) of Roanoke, AL; Amanda Nash (Fiance Eric) of Brownsville,PA; Sarah Nash of Bentleyville, PA; Stephanie Nash of Brownsville, PA; and Patricia Nash (Frank) of Mt. Morris, PA;  seven grandchildren, Nathaniel Nash, Joshua Nash, Zachary Nash, Alexander Nash, Isaac Henderson, Blake, and Chloe Clark.

Preceding him in death is his wife Mary P. Nash Sr. who passed away in 2019.

Funeral services are private and under the direction of John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA 15313.  A private burial  with Military Honors will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Washington.  An online guest book is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com where you may express personal condolences.
