Laura A. Kinder, 76 of Fredericktown, PA passed away peacefully Sunday, December 4, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 20, 1946 in Fredericktown, PA a daughter of the late Clyde Crawford, E. Louise Edwards and stepfather Robert Paul Edwards.

Mrs. Kinder was self-employed as a beautician and formerly a waitress at the Chuck Wagon restaurant. But she was most proud of her role as wife, homemaker and devoted mother to her children. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother and great grandmother.

Laura was a long time member of Calvary Chapel, Brownsville.

On June 5, 1964 she married Ernest K. Kinder who preceded her in death on November 10, 2021. They celebrated 57 years of marriage.

She is survived by three children, Timothy Kinder (Shannon) of Fredericktown, PA, Jordan Kinder of Masontown, PA and Kristina Kinder of Vestaburg, PA; two grandchildren, Shanna Reese of Canonsburg, PA and Brooke Giecek of Washington, PA; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Crawford of Fredericktown, PA and Joseph Edwards of Cokeburg, PA; two sisters, Bobbie Bane of Eighty Four, PA and Margaret Edwards Smith of Denbo Heights, PA.

Deceased in addition to her parents is a son Ernest K. Kinder Jr.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA and Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM, the time of service, with Pastor John Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery.

The family extends a very heartfelt thank you to the entire Hospice team at OSPTA and special caregiver Shirley Holsey who helped care for her in her final weeks.
