Lance C. Kavakich, 60 of Bentleyville PA, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at UPMC Washington Hospital.

He was born October 13, 1964 in Charleroi, PA a son of the late Mark L. and Janet Pizzutelli Kavakich.

Lance was a 1982 graduate of Bentworth High School.

For over 40 years he was self-employed and operated J & M Service Towing/Recovery and Auto Repair in Bentleyville, PA where he always joked that it was 23½ hour towing even though he was always available 24/7 -365.

Lance was a staple of the community and loved life. He enjoyed spending time with friends and loved anything with a motor including classic cars, trucks, and ATVs. He could fix just about anything and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Lance was rarely seen without his German Shepherd, faithful companion "Kyser" who passed away last year.

Surviving are three brothers, Mark J. Kavakich of Bentleyville, PA , John Kavakich (Sylvia) of Cedar Grove, NJ, and Kevin Geresti (Gina) of Avella, PA; close friend and confidant Jeffrey Palcic (Casey) of Fallowfield Twp., PA; two nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 3 to 6 PM in the Bentleyville Fire Department Social Hall. All arrangements are under the direction of the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA.
