Lainey Nicole
Wren White
Dec 18, 2024 — Jan 29, 2026
Lainey Nicole Wren White passed away suddenly in the early morning of January 29, 2026 at Children's Hospital Pittsburgh.
Born on December 18th 2024, sweet little Lainey was already facing many obstacles more than most people see in a lifetime. On January 29, 2026, our Sweet Lainey was welcomed into the Loving arms of Jesus. Even though her life was a mere 13 months she left a mark that spanned generations. Her beauty matched her fight and determination. Every day she showed us how to love more, to embrace each day as a gift and to keep us on our toes.
Her big brother Colt is left with memories of special moments whispering his love for Lainey. A brother that promised daily to take care of her forever and he did. Quiet evenings led to Lainey cuddling up on her dad, Ronald K. White III hearing his heartbeat was her calm and favorite place to nap. Lainey's day normally did not end there as nighttime was a special time for her mom, Morgan Hawley White. It was Spa time as Morgan delicately bathed and pampered her beautiful little baby girl sharing her love of hairdressing with her daughter every night. Whether it was braiding her hair, putting it in little pigtails or making it all curly and fluffy, something every little girl would love for their mommy to do and that special bond cannot be broken in any lifetime.
Special days were spent picking out matching outfits with Ella, her cousin who thought Lainey was her sister. Ella dreamed of the day that Lainey could play together in her dollhouse. Two princesses sharing an indescribable love as only a big sister could and both protected by Kayden, the oldest of the cousins. Even on her last trip down the driveway Kayden screamed for her "no Lainey stay home". Unmeasurable love shared by innocence. Lainey will be greatly missed by her guard dogs Roxy, Raven, Blade and Paxton, family, friends and community but especially by her big brother Colt.
In addition to her parents and brother, Lainey is survived by paternal grandparents, Terry White of Centerville, Ronald K. White, Jr. (Andrea) of Lockhaven, Pa., maternal grandparents, David and Barb Hawley of Kersey, Pa. and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and extended family.
