Kenneth P. Smith, 60 of Fredericktown, PA (Deemston Borough) passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Forbes Regional Hospital.

He was born April 30, 1960 in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late Charles and Helen Metris Smith.

Mr. Smith was a 1978 graduate and class president of Beth Center High School.

For over 20 years he was employed by East Beth Township working on their road crew.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, yard work and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.

On May 22, 1997 he married Laura Jean Harden Smith who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Zachary Smith of South Park, PA; a sister Kimberley Hicks (Jeff) of Brownsville, PA; one brother Kevin Smith (Margaret) of Brownsville, PA; three step sons, Eugene Harn (Amanda) of Masontown, PA, Charles Harn of Cokeburg, PA and Robert Vihlidal (Shannon) of Medina, OH; seven grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or visitation. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd. Beallsville, PA.
