Katherine "Kay" Ivcic McKeta, 97 of Cokeburg, PA passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 14, 1922 in Ellsworth, PA a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Frankovich Ivcic.

Mrs. McKeta was a homemaker and also lovingly took care of the former St. Joseph's Church in Cokeburg.

Katherine was a member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish Bentleyville Campus, the Women's Guild, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Dolores 1675 Bentleyville and the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 354 of Cokeburg.

Surviving are two children, Sister Saundra McKeta SMIC of Denville, NJ and Michael McKeta of Cokeburg; grandson Justin McKeta of Finleyville; three great grandchildren, Cassidy, Colby and Cailyn McKeta of Belle Vernon; several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased in addition to her parents is her husband Michael "Port" McKeta who died November 15, 1991; a son George McKeta (Judy); four brothers, John, Frank, Michael (Mitzi) and George Ivcic; one sister Ann Remish.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home 619 Main St. Bentleyville, PA where prayers will be said Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Katharine Drexel Parish Bentleyville Campus with Rev. Edward L. Yuhas officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
