Justin M. Filby 36, of Coal Center, Pa (Clover Hill) passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, in his home.  Born May 5, 1989 in Monongahela, PA, he was the  beloved son of John W. and Kathy Ames Filby of Coal Center, Pa, loving brother to John M. (Nicole) Filby; adoring uncle to Avery and Addison Filby; Grandson of Shirley Ames of Clover Hill; fond nephew of Bill Filby Jr., Charleroi PA, Bob (Bonnie) Filby, Monroe Falls, OH, Rick (Donna) Filby, Clover Hill, PA, Debbie (Brian) Carroll, Daisytown, PA, Joyce Ames, Clover Hill, PA, Francine (John) Yenny, Daisytown, PA,

Justin had a true passion for Nascar. Anyone that knew him growing up knew he was always rooting for #48! You could find him every Sunday in front of the TV with the big race on. Justin also had a love for watching all sports including  football, basketball and hockey.

He and his brother John also enjoyed spending time together watching Motocross. It had become a new must watch for the Filby brothers.

Justin also adored his two amazing nieces Avery and Addison; from watching Avery hit the next home run or watching Guy Fieri on the food network channel with his Addie Girl. Anytime his beautiful nieces had news to share they went to Uncle Justin.

Justin loved his HOT sauce and to be out by the fire, listening to Country Music with his family, and playing the occasional video game.

Justin is preceded in death by grandparents William (Irene) Filby Sr, and grandfather Francis Ames; aunt Rose Filby; and cousin Benjamin E. Ames.

Friends will be received Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA.
