Josephine "Jackie" Zellie, 87 of Washington, PA formerly of Fredericktown, PA died on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Presbyterian Senior Care-Southmont after a brief illness. She was born on June 16, 1939, in Fredericktown, the first-born twin daughter of Joseph and Martha "Farrah" Abraham. She attended the former East Bethlehem Township High School (Beth-Center) in Fredericktown. On October 11, 1959, she married the late, Carl C. Zellie, Sr. at St. Ellien Church in Brownsville, PA.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Martha "Julie" Abraham-Logan.
She is survived by her son, Carl (Bonnie) C. Zellie, Jr. of Washington, PA baby sister, Alexandria "Sandi" Abraham-Smith of Hughesville, MD sister-in-law, Dolores Zellie Koskey of Fredericktown nephews; David T. Wynn, Alexandria, VA, Frank (Taylor) L. Koskey, Jr. of Maui, HI, Jason (Jennifer) J. Koskey of Maui, HI, Eric M. Koskey of Fredericktown great nephews; Austin D. Lehmann of Linden, NC, Nathan A. Koskey of Maui, HI; Justin R. Stepp, Marianna, PA, Jacob J. Stepp, Marianna, Noah K. Koskey, Maui, HI nieces; Kimberly (Ronald) Davis, Ashburn, VA, Regina (Jason) L. Stepp of Marianna, PA, D. Renee Koskey of Bentleyville, PA, Carrie (Paul) A. Kondratiuk, Fredericktown great nieces; Jessica L. Stepp, Annapolis, MD, Alisha N. Clever of Clarksville, PA, Madison Koskey, Honolulu, Hi, Sayler Koskey, Mauhi, HI, Raeha L. Koskey, Millsboro, PA, Riley J. Koskey, Millsboro great great niece Avalynn N.Gode-Johnson of Clarksville. A "special great niece", Bobbie Lee Varner Barkovic of Uniontown, PA. Special and long-time friend, Charles Woodburn of Washington. Beloved God Daughter Ashley N. Talley of Washington.
Jackie was an avid fan of Bingo, playing cards, watching the Game Show Network and watching her one and favorite soap opera, General Hospital. She greatly enjoyed going to Kennywood Park and attending picnics, cook-outs and barbeques in the summer!
She was a member of St. George Church, Bridgeville, PA. She loved her family tremendously and was always the life of the parties! She was greatly loved and will be terribly missed by her beloved family and dear friends.
Friends will be received on Thursday July 16, 2026, from 12:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home Ltd. 42 Bank Fredericktown, PA, 15333. Where a Trisagion Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Ellien Church, 500 Spring Street, Brownsville, PA with Fr. Jason DelVitto and Fr.
