Joseph "Dan" Kudlac, 65 of Fredericktown, PA (East Beth Township) passed away unexpectedly Monday April 8, 2024.

Dan was born March 4, 1959 in Washington, PA a son of the late Joseph C. and Ann Roskovich Kudlac.

He was a 1977 graduate of Bentworth High School, and had been employed by both the Catholic Cemeteries Association, and the Catholic Parish Cemeteries Association for a total of 40 years. Working at both Queen of Heaven, and Sacred Heart Cemetery.  He retired 2022 as Director of Operations for the Catholic Parish Cemeteries Association.

Mr. Kudlac also served Ellsworth Borough and community for over twenty-five years as a Council member, and Mayor.  He was a former member of the Ellsworth Fire Department serving as a fireman, and paramedic.

He loved following the Pittsburgh Pirates, and being a part of his grandchildren's sports, and interests.  He also leaves behind his faithful companion Chihuahua, Bambi.

Surviving are two daughters Michell Little (John), and Bridgett Trump (Tim) both of Fredericktown, PA; six grandchildren Hayley Little, Johnny Little, Timmy Trump, Elizabeth Trump, Mallory Little, and Violet Trump; great granddaughter Alexandra Harper; a sister, Sister Kathy Kudlac of Pittsburgh, PA. ; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his wife Elizabeth "Joyce" Kudlac, and four sisters Barbara Matthews, Jean Zigmond, Judy Evans, and Donna Kudlac.

Friends will be received Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main Street Beallsville, PA 15313 where funeral services will be held Saturday April 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m with pastor George Lammay officiating.  Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.   In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at St. Judes.org.
