Joseph William Hager, 73 of Clarksville, PA passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Lasosky's Personal Care Home.

He was born July 23, 1948 in Brownsville, PA a son of the late Allen and Jane Lorence Hager Sr.

Mr. Hager was a graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and also graduated from George Washington University in the Pre-Med Program.

He was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving from 1966 to 1970.

Joseph was employed as an underground coal miner in the Vesta #5 mine.

He was a member of the UMWA.

Mr. Hager enjoyed hunting and fishing and was known for his superior intellect.

Surviving are two siblings, Allen Hager of Rices Landing, PA and Linni Belle Oberholtzer.

Funeral Services are private and under the direction of the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. Fredericktown, PA. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
