Joseph M. Dolak Jr., 85 of West Pike Run Township, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 24, 1934 in Daisytown, PA a son of the late Joseph M. and Elizabeth Gardosik Dolak Sr.

In 1957 he entered and honorable served with the U. S. Army.

For the past ten years he was employed as a van driver by the Impiccini Bus Lines.

He was a lifetime member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus where he served for many years as an usher. He was also a member of Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post # 705 Centerville and was a former member of the Richeyville Volunteer Fire Department.

Joe was an avid stamp and coin collector. He loved to work around his home and always had some project in the works. Many of his projects came from the time he spent on his "thinking stool". He was very hard working and a proud and kind husband, father and Pap Pap.

On February 11, 1989 he married Cindy Hundertmark Dolak who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters Jo-Jo Wilkinson (Adam) of Stockdale, PA and Maria Wright (Zac) of Fallowfield Township; two grandchildren Connor and Carly Wilkinson; three sisters Mary Zuchowski of Richeyville, Sue Ventura of Daisytown and Margie Kostial of Centerville; one brother Paul Dolak (Lorilee) of Beallsville, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents is a daughter Paula Jo Dolak who died April 12, 1973; two brothers Andrew J. and Stephen Dolak.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where a Blessing Service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 10 AM. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded graveside by Centerville American Legion Post # 705.
