John Steven Timko

John Steven Timko, 58, of Bentleyville, PA passed away on Sunday September 13, 2026, in the Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center.

John was born in Washington, PA on October 15, 1967, a son of the late Michael Timko and Alberta M. McCartney Timko who survives. He graduated from the Trinity High School in 1986 and had many amazing and loving qualities. Above all, his nieces and nephews were his “pride and joy”. He had a gifted memory and loved his family immensely. John was known to be extremely generous, always willing to give the shirt off his back. He was also a fan of professional wrestling.

He was a long-time member of the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Brownsville, PA.

Surviving in addition to his mother are siblings Michael Timko Sr., Lisa Sprowls (Calvin), and Ronda “Cheryl” Plymire; several loving nieces and nephews; one great nephew Gavin Michael Dolan.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday September 17, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA. Where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. and interment will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, Brownsville. An online guestbook is available.
