John "Turtle" Swarow, 51 of Denbo, PA passed away Thursday, February, 9, 2023 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born November 1, 1971 in Washington, PA a son of the late Gary Swarow and Shirley Albert Kovach of Denbo, PA who survives.

Mr. Swarow was a 1991 graduate of Beth Center High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.

He had been  employed at Solomon Ford on Route 40 Brownsville as well as several other jobs and positions.

John enjoyed camping, golfing, and hunting, especially for squirrels. He also loved his dogs Willow, Zoey and Holly.

Surviving are two sons Evan Swarow of Denbo, PA and Andrew Swarow of Sweet Water, TN; granddaughter Delilah Jane Swarow; two brothers, Gary Swarow Jr. (Jonnie) of Washington, PA and Paul Swarow (Maria) of Centerville, PA; fiancé Patty Myers of Denbo, PA; step son Shawn Gaster of Denbo, PA; good friend Frank Adkins of Crafton, OH; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are his father Gary Swarow and stepfather Ken Kovach.

Friends will be received Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 2 to 5 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA.
