John A. Safko

John A. Safko, 78, of Clarksville, PA died on August 29, 2026, in his home after a recent battle with illness.

He was born on November 13, 1947, in Canonsburg, PA and was the son of the late John Safko Jr. and Margaret Peters Safko.

After graduating high school, he was enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving in the Vietnam Conflict. For his service he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He earned a degree as an Electrical Technician and was employed as a Coal Miner for many years.
