John H. Quail Jr., 61, of Daisytown, PA (Centerville Boro) passed away on March 22, 2026 in the Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital after a recent battle with illness.

He was born on May 4, 1964 in Brownsville, PA a son of the late John H. Quail Sr. and Myrl Ann Fidorek Quail who survives.  In 1982 he graduated from the Beth Center High School and earned his Associates Degree in Mechanics at Vale Tech located in Blairsville.

John was employed as a Mechanic for many years working at various locations and positions.  He managed the forklift mechanics at 84 Lumber, was the Rental Manager at Penn West Industrial, and most recently employed by G.E. Vernova.

On August 15, 1992, he married his wife Betty M. Weaver Quail who survives and celebrated 33 years of marriage.

John was a man of Faith and enjoyed working on his farm and being outdoors.  He also was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed Steam Engine Shows, tractors, gardening and riding quads.

In addition to his wife, and mother John leaves behind two children Courtney Ann Quail (Fiancé Jacob Beckinger) and John R. Quail (Michelle Boso); two grandchildren Haiden Quail and Beau Beckinger; siblings David Quail (Theresa), Sherry Thomas (Charles) and Kimberly Phillips; several nieces and nephews; brothers in law Robert Weaver (Christina) and William Weaver (Rhonda); sisters in law Elaine Mcgaughey (Joe) and Becky Sezawich.

Preceding him in death are his father and grandparents.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday March 26, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd.,  2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA.   Interment will be private.  An online guestbook is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com
