John B. Korbini, 87 of Clarksville, PA passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 in his home.

He was born June 9, 1936 in Fredericktown, PA a son of the late Louis and Gizella Molitoris Korbini.

Mr. Korbini was a 1954 graduate of East Beth High School.

He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps serving from 1954 to 1957.

Upon his discharge from the service John was employed at the Alcoa mill in Cleveland, OH and then at Super Value, formerly Fox Grocery in Belle Vernon, PA, from where he retired.

Mr. Korbini was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Carmichaels and the Hanson-Cole American Legion Post #391 where he was also a member of the Honor Guard.

John was known to be very patriotic and loved passing on those values to his family. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, Bingo at the Legion and in his younger years hunting.

On June 25, 1960 he married Patricia Minskey Korbini who survives. They celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, John S. Korbini (Beverly) of Wellsburg, WV and Amy Grable (Kenny) of Fredericktown, PA; three grandchildren, Joshua Korbini (Casey) and their daughter Audrey of Wheeling, WV, Jared Korbini (Alicia) and their son Jackson of Wellsburg, WV and Kendall Grable (Basilica) and their son Daxton of Marianna, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three siblings, Martha, Margaret and Ronald.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 7 PM in the Greenlee's Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank St. at Crawford Rd. Fredericktown, PA where funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 10 AM with Rev. William B. Henry officiating. Interment will be held in Fredericktown Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded by the Hanson-Cole American Legion Post # 391 Fredericktown.
